ENDS AND BEGINNINGS is a literate, post-apocalyptic cat roleplay. The plot is the struggle to survive. Characters can build their own stories—claim land, form alliances, discover new regions, wage wars, or whatever your heart desires. There are few restrictions, except we ask that roleplay remains moderately realistic—no magic is allowed.
The sky is gray, dust and fog frequently cover the city. It has been years since the most humans were last seen and they only live on through vague stories passed down from cat to cat. Instead, they seem to be possessed with a lack of awareness and coherence, and encounters always end up hostile. Humans no longer own pets, and such memories seem distant and foreign. Despite humans neglecting their city, the city still stands, crumbling away. Prey has become scarce, and survival becomes harder and harder with each generation. Rabies and another strange sickness is blossoming, making it hard to trust anyone. Cats are on edge, but they have managed to survive the calamities that have wracked the city. It is clear that where there are ends, there are beginnings.

Open — Any character can reply Closed — Only designated characters can reply 6.0 ] If a fight occurs, participants have the choice of deciding who wins or having a staff member decide. If a staff member is needed, please message the admin account (this account) and ask for a fight to be judged. 7.0 ] A Happening is an account that may show up in posts and detail events that occur from non-player designated events, such as a dog appearing.

Time System! Time goes by twice as fast. While normally a year is 52 weeks, a year in EAB is 26 weeks. Seasons take up a quarter of a year, so a season in EAB lasts 6 weeks. Since a cat pregnancy lasts 9 weeks, it should last 4.5 weeks in EAB, but we simply that down to 4 weeks. You are responsible for keeping track of your queen's pregnancy. But all you need to do is post on the pregnancy thread and a staff member will validate the pregnancy and inform you about the litter size
Time Notations
The seasons and their notations are as follows: Spring — P Summer — U
Fall — F
Winter — W The roman numerals following the letter indicates which in-character year it is. For example: PI — Spring, Year I These notations are used for Of The Moment Awards, and determining weather and prey conditions. All of this can be found in the header information. Timeline
WI — Winter, Year I — Begins December 30, 2018
PII — Spring, Year II — Begins February 10, 2019
UII — Summer, Year II — Begins March 24, 2019
FII — Fall, Year II — begins May 5, 2019 WII — Winter, Year II — Begins June 16, 2019
